Well Child Care
Optimal monitoring of the growth and development of your child is very important for growth monitoring, routine vaccination/prevention of life-threatening diseases, early detection of any abnormality, health education, routine surveillance, and early intervention. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that your child see the pediatrician at regular intervals (See schedule below).
Well visits provide the opportunity to monitor not only the physical growth but the mental growth and development, answer parent concerns, talk about nutrition, safety, and general well being.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends this schedule for routine well-care visits:

And once every year thereafter for an annual health supervision visit that includes a physical exam as well as a developmental, behavioral, and learning assessment.
School Physicals and Sports Physical Examination can be done as part of your well-child check or as a separate visit.

Examinations prior to surgical procedures such as Dental clearance are also done as part of our Well child care. Surgical clearance forms are best done 2-3 days prior to the procedure. Please bring any required form from your dental or surgical office.
