Carmen R. Rhymes, DNP, CFNP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Belhaven University in 2014, followed by a Bachelor of Nursing from Alcorn State University in 2016. She began her nursing career across various specialties, including medical-surgical, PACU, ICU, and women’s health.
In 2020, Dr. Rhymes received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
With five years of experience in pediatric community health, Dr. Rhymes is excited to join Empower Children’s Clinic.
A proud Mississippi native, Dr. Rhymes resides in Byram, MS, and looks forward to continuing her commitment to pediatric care at the Pearl and Madison clinics.
